Hello there! I’m a researcher with a deep passion for applied mathematics. My work focuses on stochastic modeling, differential equations, and mathematical biology, often intersecting with data science and machine learning. I enjoy exploring how mathematical tools can address complex challenges in science and engineering. This page is a space where I share my projects, insights, and enthusiasm for the beauty and utility of mathematics.
My research interests include analysis of small active particles in fluids and applying data science techniques like reinforcement learning and likelihood-based inference. I don't always write code but when I do I use Python and MATLAB.
My papers with collaborators are listed here: Google Scholar.
A preprint is found here: Stochastic Analysis of Taxis and Kinesis Properties of Colonial Protozoa (PDF)
My current projects are:Mathematics is best studied and discovered within a welcoming community, and through various experiences, I've learned how to engage others and help foster such a community. These observations especially apply to the classroom. Below are links to a sample syllabus and my course evaluations:
When I’m not working, I enjoy reading a diverse range of fiction, always on the lookout for compelling stories and fresh perspectives. Check out my Goodreads profile to see my favorite books:
